Friday, November 21, 2025–Loving God With All Your Heart: Loving God With All Your Strength

Key Verse:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

— Colossians 3:23

Rooted Truth:

Loving God with all your strength means using your time, energy, abilities, and daily efforts as an offering to Him.

Faith Story:

When the Israelites rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem under Nehemiah, the people worked with both urgency and devotion.

The Scripture says:

“For the people had a mind to work.” — Nehemiah 4:6

They weren’t building for fame.

They weren’t building for applause.

They were building for the glory of God.

This is what it means to love God with all your strength:

You put your heart into everything you do because your work is worship.

It is:

• giving your best at your job,

• serving faithfully in your church,

• showing up with integrity,

• being diligent and dependable,

• working hard in unseen places,

• going the extra mile when no one notices,

• using your energy to glorify God, not self.

Loving God with all your strength isn’t about being the strongest person—it’s about giving God the strength you do have, today, right now.

Whether in physical work, mental effort, or spiritual discipline, your strength becomes sacred when it is surrendered.

Scripture for Deeper Roots:

1 Corinthians 10:31 – “Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

Ecclesiastes 9:10 – “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”

Deuteronomy 6:5 – “…with all thy strength.”

Daily Practice:

Choose one task today—large or small—and dedicate it intentionally to the Lord before doing it.

Do it heartily, knowing it is a gift of love to Him.

Daily Prayer:

Lord, I give You my strength today.

Use my work, my efforts, my energy for Your glory.

Help me live with diligence and passion, not for the praise of people,

but as an act of love toward You.

Amen.

Deep Reflection:

• How do you typically view your daily work—routine or worship?

• What areas of life need renewed strength from God?

• How can you love God practically with your energy, effort, and resources?
