Key Verse:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9
Rooted Truth:
When repentance breaks the ground and righteousness is sown, holiness becomes the harvest.
Faith Story:
The Welsh Revival of 1904 began in a small prayer meeting where believers cried out, “Bend us, O Lord!” They weren’t asking for blessings or fame—they were asking for holiness.
Within months, entire towns were transformed. Taverns closed, debts were repaid, and families were restored. Police officers reported having little to do—except help manage the crowds gathering for prayer. The Spirit had rained righteousness upon a people prepared to receive it.
The true evidence of revival isn’t emotion—it’s transformation. Holiness is the fruit of a heart revived by God’s Spirit. When we live daily surrendered to Him, our lives become living testimonies of His grace and power.
Scripture for Deeper Roots:
Hebrews 12:11 – “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”
Romans 6:22 – “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”
John 15:8 – “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
Daily Practice:
Ask God to show you what holiness looks like in your daily life—how you speak, what you watch, how you treat others. Pray for the courage to live differently, shining as one who belongs wholly to Him.
Daily Prayer:
Lord, thank You for breaking my fallow ground and sending the rain of Your righteousness. Let my life now bear the fruit of holiness. May every part of me reflect Your character, and may my harvest bring glory to You alone. Amen.
Deep Reflection:
• What fruit of holiness has God been cultivating in your life lately?
• How does living a holy life testify of His restoring power to others?
• What steps can you take today to maintain the soil of your heart for ongoing growth?
