Key Verse:

“Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

— Genesis 18:14

Rooted Truth:

Our impossibilities are God’s opportunities to display His power.

Faith Story:

Abraham and Sarah were well beyond childbearing years when God promised them a son. From a human perspective, it was impossible. Sarah even laughed when she overheard the Lord’s words. Yet, at the exact time God declared, Isaac was born.

What was impossible for man was certain for God.

Hudson Taylor, missionary to China, once said:

“There are three stages in the work of God: impossible, difficult, done.”

When we face the impossible, God reminds us: Nothing is too hard for Me.

Scripture for Deeper Roots:

Jeremiah 32:27 – “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”

Luke 1:37 – “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Ephesians 3:20 – “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think…”

Daily Practice:

Write down one situation in your life that feels “impossible.” Bring it before God in prayer today, and instead of asking “How?” begin asking “Lord, what will You do?”

Daily Prayer:

Lord, nothing is too hard for You. Forgive me when I doubt Your power or limit You with my unbelief. Strengthen my faith to trust You with the impossible in my life. Amen.

Deep Reflection:

• What “impossible” situation are you facing right now?

• How does remembering God’s past faithfulness strengthen your trust for today?

• What step of faith can you take while waiting for God to move?
