Tuesday, August 5, 2025–Called To Go: The Message We Carry

Key Verse:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”

— Romans 1:16

Rooted Truth:

We don’t just carry good advice—we carry good news that saves souls and changes eternities.

Faith Story:

Charles Spurgeon, one of the most passionate gospel preachers in history, once stood before his congregation and said:

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our dead bodies… Let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

Spurgeon understood the urgency and the weight of the message he carried. The gospel wasn’t a suggestion—it was salvation. He preached with tears, prayed with power, and lived to see souls redeemed.

Scripture for Deeper Roots:

1 Corinthians 15:3–4 – “Christ died for our sins… he was buried… he was raised on the third day…”

Acts 4:12 – “There is salvation in no one else…”

2 Timothy 1:8 – “Do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord…”

Daily Practice:

Practice sharing the gospel in one sentence today. Then ask God for one opportunity to speak it, text it, or live it with boldness and grace.

Daily Prayer:

Jesus, Your gospel is life. Help me not to shrink back, apologize, or water it down. Give me courage to speak it clearly, love others boldly, and trust You completely. Amen.

Deep Reflection:

Are you confident in explaining the gospel? Why or why not?

What fears hold you back from sharing it?

How can you begin praying for gospel moments each day?
