Faith Story:

Jim Elliot, missionary to the Waorani people of Ecuador, gave his life to bring the gospel to those who had never heard. Though he was killed at age 28, his legacy lives on through the words he once wrote:

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”

Jim didn’t wait until the conditions were perfect or the risks were gone. He believed that going was a command, not a suggestion. His life reminds us: obedience to the gospel is always worth it.
