Key Verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6
Rooted Truth:
God doesn’t just give wisdom for the big moments—He offers guidance for the ordinary ones too.
Faith Story:
Corrie ten Boom, who helped many Jews escape the Holocaust, learned to rely on God’s wisdom in every step—even in the smallest decisions. She said:
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
When she was faced with hiding people or confronting danger, she didn’t rely on instinct alone—she prayed. God’s wisdom met her in the unknown, and He’ll meet you in your daily questions too.
Scripture for Deeper Roots:
Psalm 32:8 – “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go…”
Isaiah 30:21 – “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’”
James 3:17 – “The wisdom from above is… peaceable, gentle, open to reason…”
Daily Practice:
As you go through today, pause before every key decision—big or small—and ask: “Lord, what is wise?” Write down how He leads you.
Daily Prayer:
Lord, in every moment—whether mundane or massive—remind me to lean on You. Teach me to pause, to ask, and to follow Your wisdom, not just my own logic. Amen.
Deep Reflection:
What “everyday decisions” have you been handling without prayer?
When have you experienced God leading you in unexpected ways?
How might daily wisdom change your pace and peace?
